Altair OptiStruct is a structural analysis optimization solution designed for manufacturing industries. It enables users to design and optimize composites (including ply shape and layup schedule), and components for 3D printing, apply optimization throughout the process with the design performance metrics, analyze attributes from multiple disciplines (strength, vibrations, fatigue), model the lattice structures based on topology optimization, and generate design proposal based on user-defined design space, performance targets, and manufacturing constraints. Features include contact algorithms, bolt and gasket modeling, thermal analyses, coupled fluid-structure (NVH) analysis, spectrum analysis, and radiated sound analysis.
