Cisco 7609 is a network router designed for enterprises and industrial networks. It enables users to deploy local-area network (LAN), Wide-area network (WAN) and metropolitan-area network (MAN) solutions and it also provides from 30-Mpps up to 400Mpps forwarding rates with 720 Gbps of total throughput. Features include supports IP video and triple-play (voice, video, and data) system applications, mobile radio access network (RAN) aggregation, residential subscriber aggregation, 40 Gigabit per slot configuration, small form-factor pluggable (SFP) Ethernet ports, and single-side connection management.
