Description
Cisco ASR 1001 is a 1-rack-unit (1RU) platform and rack-mountable router designed for data centers. It enables users to manage traffic through the network; obtain support up to 100 Gbps in a 2-rack-unit and 60 Gbps in a 1-rack-unit form factor; maintain deep packet inspection performance at high throughputs for cisco application, visibility, and control; control traffic streams and apply traffic management; handle centralized management with security, application-aware policies, and segmentation. Features include front-to-back airflow support, 1 + 1 redundant AC or DC power supplies, one half-height SPA bay, passive board integration, built-in 2 X 10 GE, and factory-configurable integrated daughter card.
