Description

CyberKnife is a radiation therapy device designed for healthcare organizations. It enables users to manage non-surgical stereotactic treatments with sub-millimeter accuracy, anywhere in the body, conduct stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and hypofractionated radiotherapy treatments, destroy tumors while minimizing dose to healthy tissue, dynamically track the tumor during treatment, guide the robotic manipulator to precisely and accurately align the treatment beam to the moving tumor, and select 3D conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). Features include linear accelerator mounted on a robotic arm, real-time images, an integrated image guidance system, and multileaf collimator (MLC).
