InRoads (now part of OpenRoads) is a transportation infrastructure design software designed for engineers. It enables users to apply design constraints to control the 3D parametric modeling process, virtually drive through the 3D corridor model, visually inspect it for any design deficiencies or physical conflicts, evaluate sight distance, pavement markings, and signing, and determine the level of accuracy based on the frequency that cross-sections are cut. Features include civil information mapping, feature-based surface modeling, visual design verification, 3D parametric modeling, and data visualization.
