Octopus Deploy is application release automation software designed for ASP.NET, Java, NodeJS, and custom scripts. It enables users to limit who can deploy to production, ensure releases have been tested first, schedule deployments, or block promotion of broken releases. Features include a centralized dashboard, a community library with over 200 reusable steps, integration with TFS, VSTS, Bamboo, TeamCity, and Jenkins, an agent (Tentacle) for deployment to virtual machines, multi-tenant deployments, manual intervention, variable management, and release promotions.
