Apache ServiceMix is an open-source integration container designed for service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments. It enables users to exchange data between different systems, optimize the development, exposure, and consumption of web services, design, run, build, and manage SOA services, implement the routing functionality, through enterprise integration patterns (EIP), as well as test and certify middleware technologies for production, packaging, and pre-configuring. Features include reliable messaging, RESTful web services, OSGi-based server runtime, JPA support, XA transaction management, and legacy support for the JBI standard.
