Azure Automation Account is a cloud-based process automation and configuration solution designed for IT infrastructure managers and system administrators. It enables users to track virtual machine and server infrastructure changes, apply configurations to virtual or physical machines from a DSC pull server in the Azure cloud, create scheduled deployments to orchestrate the installation of updates within a defined maintenance window, automate and configure deployed workloads and the operating systems, and streamline the infrastructure and applications lifecycle management.
