It enables users to register, discover, and understand data sources, sync and maintain documentation with data sources, annotate data sources with descriptive metadata, control on who can discover registered data assets, grant and restrict the access to data based on roles, and connect with the existing tools and processes via representational state transfer (REST) APIs.
