Description
Cisco MDS 9200 is a line of multiservice modular fabric switches designed for open systems and mainframe environments. These products provide users with 40 line-rate 16-Gbps FC ports and 10 10-Gbps Ethernet ports, remote SAN extension with high-performance FC over IP (FCIP) for remote replication, ability to migrate block data without disruptions across heterogeneous storage volumes over long distances, and data encryption for heterogeneous tapes, virtual tape libraries, and disk arrays. Products include Cisco MDS 9250i Switches and Cisco MDS 9222i Switches.
