Cisco MDS 9500 is a family of director-class storage area networking (SAN) switches designed for scalable enterprise and service provider clouds. It enables users to design and deploy data centers and scalable enterprise clouds to support business transformation. Features include convergence with multihop fiber channel over Ethernet (FCoE), advanced traffic management and switching technologies, integrated mainframe support, advanced diagnostics, and troubleshooting tools, Cisco storage media encryption (SME), and enterprise-class availability. Series include Cisco MDS 9513, Cisco MDS 9506, and Cisco MDS 9509.
