Description
Cisco Nexus 1000V is a virtual machine access switch designed for VMware ESX environments. It enables users to leverage predefined network policy, address server virtualization from the network’s perspective, define policy for a port category, customize and limit access to switch operations, and analyze traffic between ports by non-intrusively directing session traffic to an analyzer. Features include VMware ESX and ESXi integration, configuration verification, role-based access control (RBAC), Ping and SSH v2 support, packet analyzer, and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN encapsulation.
