Description

Cisco Nexus 5010 is an access layer switch designed for data centers. It enables users to transit traffic between front-panel ports and fabric modules, configure switch level parameters such as the node name, date, and interface IP addresses, streamline network operations management, connect the traffic generators to all the ports, handle customer traffic in and out of the switch, and perform a distributed multicast lookup and packet replication to send copies of multicast packets. Features include 1+1 redundant, hot-pluggable, dual-sensing power supplies, 1 RU form factor, one out-of-band 10/100/1000-Mbps Ethernet management port, serial console port, and support up to 6 additional 10 Gigabit Ethernet/FCoE ports.
