Description
Cisco Nexus 9500 is a series of modular chassis switches designed for data-center deployments. These products enable users to manage all switch operations using a state-synchronized active-standby model, connect to any blade or rack server through 100 Megabit Ethernet, 1 Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections, restart the process in the event of a process failure, automate the process of upgrading software images and installing configuration files, and handle application deployment and workload mobility. Products include Cisco Nexus 9504, Cisco Nexus 9508, and Cisco Nexus 9516. Features include VXLAN with Border Gateway Protocol‒Ethernet VPN (BGP-EVPN) control plane, segment routing, deep buffers, policy-based architecture, and automation via NX-APIs.
