Description
Cisco ONS 15454 is a multiservice provisioning platform (MSPP) designed for data centers. It enables users to manage aggregation and transport of services from DS-1 to OC-192, handle architecture with multirate (SFP-based) Ethernet and optical modules, consolidate multidegree wavelength switching functionality with optical amplification and spectrum analysis, and streamline operations with time division multiplexing (TDM). Features include Cisco CPAK support, dynamic restoration, DWDM transport, SONET integration, Cisco Path Protected Mesh Networking (PPMN) support, and OSMINE compliance.
