Description
Java SE 18 is an open-source reference implementation of version 18 of the Java SE Platform designed for application developers and IT administrators. It enables users to build applications and components using the Java programming language; develop, execute, debug, and document programs; search for and examine existing bug reports; create custom runtimes with compiled modules used by jlink; and define the API for transferring data between and within applications. Features include UTF-8 by default, simple web server, core reflection reimplementation with method handles, vector API, internet-address resolution SPI, foreign function and memory API, pattern matching for switch, and finalization deprecation.
