Description

kaniko is a container images building tool designed for application developers. It enables users to build images from a standard Dockerfile typically relying upon interactive access to a Docker daemon, execute commands and snapshot the filesystem, fetch and extract the base-image file system to root, compare the file system to the prior state that was stored in memory, as well as append any modifications to the filesystem as a new layer to the base image. Features include kernel namespacing, pod descriptor, log management, file configuration, and role-based access control.
