Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 is an email, calendaring, contact, scheduling, and collaboration platform designed for deployment on the Windows Server operating system. It enables users to track users’ social communication and behavior, partition the access from the Internet and intranets from within the ECP IIS virtual directory, protect sensitive data and inform users of internal compliance policies, search and retrieve mailbox data across all mailboxes and In-Place Archives, and gather and preserve data across multiple data repositories. Features include messaging policy management, anti-malware protection, integration with SharePoint and Lync, batch mailbox, and workload management. Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 is preceded by Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.
