MITRE ATT&CK is an open knowledge base of observed adversary tactics and techniques designed for SecOps teams. It enables users to amplify threat detection across the security stack, share the adversarial behaviors across the attack lifecycle, identify one or more system or application with the necessary data, assess security program coverage and gaps, streamline and automate the workflows for security response across the IT environment, and inspect attacks and stolen data hidden inside encrypted SSL/TLS traffic.
