Netflix Zuul is an L7 application gateway designed for IT administrators. It enables users to route requests to multiple Amazon Auto Scaling Groups, identify and manage authentication requirements for resource and rejecting requests, track data and statistics at the edge, dynamically route cluster requests (across different clusters or regions), gauge cluster performance, as well as handle responses at the edge. Features include production management, security management, ELB usage support, static response handling, and multi-region resiliency support.
