Oracle RAC One Node is a database failover solution designed for database managers and administrators. It enables users to apply rolling patches and database service relocation without incurring downtime, relocate the database from one server to another without interrupting the database service, deploy Oracle Database instances on a pool of servers, prevent runaway processes in one instance from impacting others' sharing that server, and dynamically change the CPU allocation without taking the database offline. Features include database consolidation, database virtualization, Oracle Multitenant support, downtime management, and database availability management.
