Pravega is an open-source distributed storage solution designed for application developers. It enables users to automatically scale individual data streams to accommodate changes in data ingestion rate, handle high throughput reads and writes from thousands of concurrent clients, ingest, process, and retain data in streams, access both real-time and historical events stored, as well as build pipelines of data processing, combining batch, real-time and other applications without duplicating data for every step of the pipeline. Features include cluster management, stream lifecycle management, real-time threat detection, data retention, and application log management.
