SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) is a bridge between the equipment and MES designed for manufacturing sectors. It enables users to exchange data between information technology and programmable logic controllers; plant historian systems and transmit the machine data across the equipment landscape; map coordination tasks in the programmable logic controllers and configure destination systems; receive tags and events from the connected source systems in production. Features include machine protocol conversion, bi-directional data exchange, notification generation, framework management, and performance interoperability.
