Selenium IDE (formerly Selenium Recorder) is an open-source record and playback test automation tool designed for test case developers. It enables users to analyze and examine debugging by setting breakpoints and pausing on exceptions, re-use one test case inside of another, create scripts to aid in automation-aided exploratory testing, generate bug reproduction scripts, as well as optimize and manage the execution speed of test cases. Features include command-line runner support, debugging optimization, plugins support, argument management, assertion integration, and multiple-locator support.
