Siemens Calibre xRC is a rule-based parasitic extraction tool designed for design engineers. It enables users to create netlists and parasitic debugging in the design environment, maintain the integrity of parasitic data, correlate extraction and process models with field solver results, combine mixed-level data (transistor-level, gate-level, and hierarchical), in a single parasitic extraction run, and streamline data handling between upstream design creation environments and downstream post-layout analysis. Features include integration with Calibre LVS and Calibre xACT 3D, proprietary reduction algorithm, support for diverse design flows and styles, compatibility with downstream digital, custom, and mixed-signal flows, and native database information access.
