SolarWinds Security Event Manager (formerly SolarWinds Log & Event Manager) is a security information and event management (SIEM) platform designed for IT administrators. It enables users to automate cybersecurity threat detection and response, monitor suspicious activity and respond to security threats, demonstrate security compliance, manage log collections from third-party software and hardware, as well as forward raw event log data with syslog protocols (RFC3164 and RFC 5244) to an external application. Features include dashboard capability, file integrity monitoring integration, audit reports and compliance tools, and forensic analysis.
