Description
STAR-CD is a multidisciplinary simulation platform designed for in-cylinder flow and combustion analysis. It enables powertrain engineers to simulate the performance and behavior of internal combustion engines from intake to after-treatment. Features include es-ice automated meshing processes and post-processing capabilities, fuel chemistry libraries for single and dual engine operation (including gasoline, diesel, natural gas and ethanol, natural gas-diesel, gasoline-diesel, and gasoline-ethanol), and supplemental models for processes such as spark ignition.
