Description

UIMA is an unstructured information management solution designed for application developers. It enables users to analyze large volumes of unstructured information, identify entities, such as persons, places, organizations, or relations, manage the components and the data flow between the framework, configure and use pre-existing annotators, specify the component interfaces in an analytics pipeline, replicate the processing pipelines over a cluster of networked nodes, and describe and define a set of design patterns. Features include rule-based scripting language, Eclipse-based tooling workbench, analysis engine, supports Perl, Python, and TCL annotators, and multi-modal analytics.
