Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch is a line of unified communication solutions designed for companies with up to 1500 employees and 3000 devices. The single-server design enables companies to utilize voice, video, and content sharing inside and outside the firewall, and manage a contact center with call distribution and real-time statistics. Features include centralized management, directory search, click to call, VoIP, instant messaging, presence, visual voicemail, fax services, and instant document sharing on OpenTouch Conversation. OmniPCX Enterprise Server and OmniTouch Contact Center (Standard Edition) are tools embedded within OpenTouch. It can be deployed as a pre-installed appliance or as a software-only version running on VMware.
