Description

Altair SimLab is a process-oriented multidisciplinary simulation platform designed for computer-aided design (CAD) designers. It enables users to automate and manage mesh generation without CAD geometry cleanup, customize templates for contact detection, bolt and crankshaft modeling, analyze thermal and computational fluid dynamics, optimize bi-directional CAD coupling, evaluate design changes with live syncing, conduct linear and nonlinear structural, thermal, and computational fluid dynamics analysis, as well as perform geometry modifications, part variants, and assembly updates. Features include workflow management, solver execution analysis, Siemens NX and SolidWorks support, thermal analysis, statistical analysis, fragmentation management, and coupling management.
