Anthos Service Mesh is a fully managed service mesh designed for microservices architectures. It enables users to manage authentication, authorization, and encryption between services, configure delay and abort faults to be injected into requests that match certain conditions, set targets for latency and availability, automatically generate graphs to track compliance over time, restrict the percentage of requests that should be subjected to faults, and mitigate the risk of user data breach within the production network. Features include integration with Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Trace, role-based access control, traffic controls, load balancing, and active health checks.
