Description
Apache Phoenix is an open-source OLTP and operational analytics solution designed for Hadoop. It enables users to create, delete, and alter SQL tables, views, indexes, and sequences, orchestrate scans to produce regular JDBC result sets, compile queries and other statements into native NoSQL store, handle both cross table and cross row transactions, and execute DML commands through a coprocessor on the server-side. Features include schema-on-read capabilities, custom filters, a transaction manager, ACID transaction capabilities, NoSQL support, integration with Spark, Hive, Pig, Flume, and Map Reduce, data encoding management, and exception handling capability.
