Aptana is a suite of web application development tools designed for application developers. It enables users to streamline database access, file system access, network communications, user sessions and other functions typical of web application servers; access Java objects via the open source Direct Web Remoting project; integrate with Aptana Studio via an optional plugin; perform application synchronization between local, staging and production environments; host applications using technologies supported by Aptana Studio. Features include Git integration, IDE customization, integrated debugger, deployment wizard, and built-in terminal. Products include Aptana Studio, Aptana Jaxer, and Aptana Cloud Connect.
