Autodesk Alias (formerly Alias StudioTools) is a line of industrial design and Class-A surfacing software designed for industrial, product, and automotive designers. These products enable users to sketch and edit product concepts, walk through a concept model workflow, create a surface on mesh, and utilize the revolve tool to mathematically control pitch. Products include Alias Concept (automotive conceptual design with sketching, modeling, and visualization), Alias Speedform (transform 2D sketches and curves into 3D automotive design concepts), Alias Surface (refine automotive concept models into Class-A surfaces), Alias Autostudio (automotive concept modeling, analysis, technical surfacing, and visualization), and Alias Design (consumer product concept to final surfaces).
