AWS IoT Greengrass is an open-source edge runtime and cloud solution designed for developers. It enables users to build IoT devices with custom modular components; deploy and manage device software and configuration without firmware updates; bring cloud processing and logic locally to edge devices; detect anomalies, operate device fleets, and control cloud data storage; and configure assets such as Lambda Functions, Docker images, and Machine-learning models.
