Description

Beats is a lightweight data shipper (written in Go) designed to capture operational data. It enables users to send data directly to Elasticsearch or via Logstash, allowing further transformation and parsing of the data before visualizing information from key data sources (containers, systems) in Kibana, track behavior of aggregated logs, automate default paths based on the operating system, search and analyze network traffic, monitor the hosts behind a load-balanced server with DNS resolution, as well as generate uptime and response time data. Modules include Filebeat, Metricbeat, Packetbeat, Winlogbeat, Auditbeat, Heartbeat, and Functionbeat.
