Cart3D is a high-fidelity inviscid analysis package developed and maintained by NASA and intended for conceptual and preliminary aerodynamic design. It enables users to perform automated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis on complex geometry and steady and time-dependent simulations. Features include fully-integrated adjoint-driven mesh adaptation, utilities for geometry import, surface modeling and intersection, and post-processing of results.
