Cisco 2500 is a series of wireless controllers designed for small and midsized network gateways. It enables users to accomplish the quality of service (QoS) for voice and video, connect access points to Wireless LAN Controller through two PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports, optimize historical information about RF interference impacting network performance, accelerate full-line-rate encryption between access points and controllers across remote WAN/LAN links, as well as contrive transactional data applications. Features include 802.11n and 802.11ac performance support, RF management, total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, scalability, 1 Gbps throughput, Cisco CleanAir technology integration, Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phones, Cisco VideoStream integration, and 15 guest anchor Ethernet over IP (EoIP) tunnels.
