Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) is a software-defined networking solution designed for data centers and cloud networks. It enables users to accelerate data center application deployment, manage mission-critical applications using a back-up and recovery site in the public cloud as well as automate cross-domain service chaining of application traffic across various L4‒L7 devices. Components include Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC), Cisco Cloud ACI, Cisco Virtual ACI, Cisco Nexus 9000 Series, Cisco ACI Multisite Orchestrator, and Cisco ACI App Center.
