Cisco TelePresence VCS Expressway (Cisco VCS-E) is a video-centric call control and firewall traversal solution designed for telecommunication sectors. It enables users to manage session control, registration and security for conferences, customize video call-management applications to requirements, drive video traffic to traverse the firewall, access to collaboration workloads, configure VCS Control to allow both authenticated and unauthenticated endpoints, as well as allocate relays for the media components of the call. Features include support uniform resource identifier (URI) dialing, transport layer security (TLS), service record (SRV) configuration, connectivity management, Microsoft Lync support, and policy service management.
