Description
CoreDNS is a general-purpose authoritative DNS server designed for DevOps teams. It enables users to automatically load zone files from disk, store record in its database and answer domain name query using the database, manage the local domain in the kubelet with the flag, configure horizontal pod autoscaler (HPA) for the cluster, and perform custom functions by writing plugins. Features include in-cluster Kubernetes DNS service discovery, dynamic DNS-based service discovery backed by etcd, integration with external policy servers, request manipulators, and multi-cluster service discovery.
