dSPACE (formerly DuraSpace) is an institutional repository application designed for academic, non-profit, and commercial organizations. It enables users to host and manage subject-based repositories, plan releases and integrate submitted features and bug fixes, ingest hierarchical metadata schemas (MARC and MODS), build authentication plugins and configure multiple verification methods, configure and customize languages, recognize and manage file format and mime types, as well as accomplish format registry for identified formats. Features include digital content optimization, repository management, record optimization, research discovery, data analysis, impact analysis, and Manakin support.
