Gloo Edge is a Kubernetes-native ingress controller, and next-generation API gateway designed for website and application developers. It enables users to facilitate and protect application traffic at the edge, receive requests from the client and manage ingress to the appropriate services within its domain, define service API policies as code, as well as prevent data loss and data leaks by monitoring for data breaches or exfiltration. Features include transport layer security (TLS) management, access logging management, LDAP and JSON web tokens (JWT) integration, vulnerability scanning, and routing optimization.
