Google Publisher Tag (GPT) is an ad tag library designed for publishers. It enables users to initiate and bundle ad requests, define shared settings (such as targeting at a page level), control how and when ad requests are made, send one request notifying the server of ad units on the page, as well as create a communication path between the ad server and a user’s browser. Features include multi-level inventory hierarchy, built-in debugging and support tool called the Google Publisher Console, single request architecture, SafeFrame capability, and responsive design.
