Description

Hornetq is an open-source asynchronous messaging solution designed for application developers. It enables users to configure clients and servers to communicate using un-encrypted TCP sockets, manage the messaging traffic tunneling over HTTP requests and responses, reroute the requests to the messaging server running behind the firewall, handle credit-based consumer flow control mechanism, programmatically create the connection factories on the client-side, and define queue attributes such as the size and durability based on wildcards. Features include pluggable transport system, JMX management API, hierarchy management, configurable expiry queues, producer flow control, and consumer rate limiting.
