IBM DataPower Gateway (formerly IBM Websphere DataPower) is a purpose-built security and integrated multi-channel gateway designed for IT service organizations. It enables users to accelerate application response and workload through IDG X2, classify the data requests based on the setting and application-level information, leverage issue determination and resolution, manage traffic and authenticate users, access policies from IBM Security Access Manager for Mobile, as well as optimize enterprise compliance and service level agreements (SLAs) with reports. Features include IBM API Connect support, hardware acceleration, performance management, content-based routing capability, IBM Bluemix support, XML threat protection, and data aggregation.
