IBM RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) is a user-based access control management solution designed for IT administrators. It enables users to identify and authenticate users, log and report attempts of unauthorized access to protected resources, delegate the authority of entities, configure profiles for subsystems, security exposures or threats, as well as manage logging to the systems management facility (SMF). Features include IBM Multifactor Authentication capability, report utility management, operational attribute management, remote sharing facility optimization, and TCP/IP support.
