Jenkins X is a cloud-native continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) solution designed for application developers. It enables users to store all the environment-specific configuration together with a list of all the applications and their version and configuration, create a Dockerfile for packaging the application up as an immutable container image, build Kubernetes YAML to run their application on Kubernetes, as well as test the environment along with code review and approval.
