Open Multi-Processing (OpenMP) is a multi-platform shared-memory parallel programming model designed for application developers. It enables users to establish the set of directives for programming shared-memory machines, accomplish communications and data sharing between nodes, synchronize explicit and implicit task production, iterate and activate task execution, determine variables by data-sharing attribute clauses, as well as allocate and deallocate variable memory. Features include alignment support, dynamic initialization capability, FORTRAN and C++ library support, pragma implementation support, multi-core processor scheduling capability, and Windows NT capability.
