Description

Red Hat Directory Server is a lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) server designed for IT administrators. It enables users to store access control list (ACL) information with each entry, restrict the access to directory data with control down to the attribute value level, collect and manage user identity and application information, manage user credentials and profiles, streamline the process of monitoring and troubleshooting replication, and administer and maintain the backups, configuration changes, schema updates, indexing, and restoration of data. Features include role-based access control, multiple authentication methods, central repository for profiles, multiple master servers deployments, and 4-way multi-master replication.
